Description: A child's world is small and everything in it means so much. New experiences and opportunities happen every day, and they are all important to later development. We offer varied age-appropriate activities that will stimulate your child's emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth. We use a Thematic Unit for all ages with a curriculum in the Pre-Kindergarten class based on "The Creative Curriculum" with emphasis on literacy. We participate in a weekly iMac computer lab, music & movement lessons, Science Lab activities and age-appropriate assemblies. Our program blends structure and flexibility so your child can pursue his/her own interests and learn at a comfortable pace. We provide time for your child to learn how to get along with others, to gain new skills, and to be a responsible and caring member of the group.

My child attended Little Cardinals Nest for almost an entire year. I was very disappointed with the quality of care and lack of academic emphasis during the "school" day. The director is disorganized, uninvolved and unprofessional. She was constantly on her phone or sitting at her computer totally unaware of what was happening in the classroom. I was diappointed that my concerns were not addressed and even dismissed. I had to seek alternate care for my child and felt that there was little effort put into helping my family. The environment is anything but happy and nourishing. Anyone who tours can tell in just a few minutes that it is not the mist ideal situation for any child. At least two of the teachers are not the most ideal educators. I would highly recommend sending your children elsewhere.
