About the Provider

Little Apples is locally owned and operated by the Szelog family since 1993. Located in Hooksett since 1996, Little Apples Day Care & Learning Center strives to enhance positive self worth within the child. Our staff accomplishes this through developmentally appropriate environments and materials. Children are cared for in a loving, nurturing manner, fostering their growth from within.

We care for children ages 6 weeks to 2nd Grade and we are open year round, from 6:30am to 6:00pm. At Little Apples we feel children are unique individuals and are treated as such. Each child is guided through tasks and encouraged to master learning goals independently.

Our staff members are both care givers and teachers. The role of a teacher is to encourage and guide children towards making positive life choices. Parental involvement is a vital part of Early Childhood Education and parents are encouraged to take part in as many activities as possible. Little Apples has an open door policy, encouraging parents to drop by.

We also feel communication is vital to a child’s success. We have a monthly news letter entitled; APPLESEEDS, as well as a classroom calendar and daily notes.
