Findings: Health & Safety Concerns. There were concerns that a child had been wearing soiled clothes for an extended amount of time due to a potty training related accident. Additionally, it was reported that the child had another child's fecal matter on their hands when parent'[s arrived for pick-up. The health department confirmed that proper handling of hazardous materials did not occur resulting in the child having another child's fecal matter on their hands. Resolution: The health department and IdahoSTARS reviewed proper handling of hazardous materials and appropriate handwashing practices to mitigate ingesting or spreading fecal matter.

Findings: Supervision Concern. There were concerns of inadequate supervision during nap time. During an investigation, the provider confirmed that children were left alone during nap time. Resolution: The nap room has been relocated to improve supervision and the provider has informed staff that children, even when napping must not be left unsupervised.
