My family and I was relocated to Fort Bragg in 2021. My wife and I looked at several daycares in Moore County however my husband and I choose Ms. Lisa's daycare. This center is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Ms. Lisa was very understanding when my husband and I was a victim of identity theft. Ms. Lisa told us she understood and just turn it in when we could. Great center, super clean.
Our 3 year old was there for a year. He’s very active and most certainly not a napper. Recently he started acting out at nap time. (They make him sit on his pad and quiet during nap time for a whole 2 hours).
The issue is they have no way to accommodate kids that don’t nap. Asking a 3 year old to do something not in his interest for 2 hours is a recipe for disaster. I am no way a parent who thinks their child is a perfect little saint, but that’s not going to work out. Toddlers wanna do what they want and will eventually get upset.
So in the end I’m stuck disciplining/having talks with my child daily because he acts out after being told repeatedly to do something he absolutely dislikes. We’ve tried to work with him and do quiet time at home during nap time. He won’t buy in.
So because they cannot accommodate kids who do not nap, my child is either kicked out or stuck to half days. Doesn’t really work with a dual military family.
