My son started attending when he was 13 months old and had 3 wonderful teachers. One by one the teachers started disappearing, then the assistant director left. The director is stand-offish and I would hear her yelling and speaking unkindly to the older children. Then one day I witnessed one of the teachers in the 1 year old room pick up three crying toddlers pretty aggressively by their upper arms and thrust them off the carpet onto the floor. The teacher did not know I was watching from the window. My son was scared and clung to me. I removed him immediately. When we brought this situation to the director’s attention, she pretty much told us she’d have to review the camera footage since sometimes what we “perceive” may be different than what happened. WOW. There is no reason for an adult to ever have their hands on an innocent child, and my gut told me what I saw was not right. I’m sure it will continue, but not with my child!
