Connect, Seek Advice, Share Knowledge
I recently visited La Petite Academy for possible placement of my infant daughter. Upon my arrival I introduced myself and the female who was giving me a so called tour never introduced who she was. Once we entered the infant room there was one teacher with two infants: one she was feeding and the other was being put to sleep. My tour guide offered to get one of the infants and continue feeding her. Prior to grabbing the infant, SHE DID NOT WASH HER HANDS. Basically, my tour was over at that point. I never saw the rest of the facility. Needless to say once my tour ended, the director Sarah finally gave me her business card. There was a lack of professionalism as well as enthusiasm on giving the tour. Before I could leave the building, I had already made a decision not to place my infant daughter there.
The ONLY plus was the infant teacher seemed very knowledgeable, but cleanliness and hand hygiene is a MUST. I did not witness either one while on my tour.
