I would find it hard to recommend this place to anybody. My granddaughter's mother who is very young made a large mistake, not understanding all of her material. Therefore she was unaware of exactly what she was being charged. They would not able to give her an exact amount because she was getting some daycare assistance from the state. I'm not sure she ever received that information until today. Three weeks in. 3 weeks into my granddaughter being there Her mother found out how much she was going to be responsible for each week. Realized she would not be able to afford it.
They would not let her just stop taking my granddaughter. She still would have been charged the next two weeks regardless.
While I do see that this is in the contract I find it heartless that they cannot work with an individual that cannot financially pay. The fact that they could not wave their need for a two week notice is heartless. And according to the paperwork the daycare is be paid in advance.
So why did she not receive a bill until 3 weeks into my granddaughter being there? She would have found out sooner.
So she's told that she has to pay $533 by the end of the year. That's a twenty-two-year-old coming up with $533 in a little more than a month. A young single mother living on her own earning $12 an hour. So I'm pretty livid right now.
