I have used this provider for more than 6 months
Kim's Kare is not a good home daycare due to the owner, Kimberly Polk. Kimberly asked my husband and me to pay for a full week for our daughter, but the school will be closed due to Kim's family vacation. I expressed my concerns and confusion over the payment request. While expressing my concerns, Kimberly told me that it was in the contract that parents pay in total while the school is closed and she is on vacation. I continued explaining that my copy of the contract does not state we are responsible for full payment while she vacates. I even showed Kimberly my copy. When she said she was still expecting me to pay in full, I withdrew my daughter. Given the fact I withdrew my daughter while she was on vacation, I had to wait until she returned to get my daughter's belongings. Unfortunately, Kimberly will not give me my daughter's clothes, medicine, extra asthma pump, almond milk, and a napping cot. I called the police for assistance, and they came and stated we would have to sort the issue out in court. Once Kimberly went back to her home, both officers informed me that that was the first time they have been called for similar situations or her husband. They apologized for the situation and encouraged me to count it as a loss because court fees would be more than the cost of my daughter's belongings. Speaking of, Kimberly's husband. She will leave the children alone with her husband or teenage sons to go shopping. I, along with my husband and mother have run into Kimberly at stores around our community, instead of being with the children. Once she saw us, she dropped the belongings she was buying and rush out of the store. Please be cautious with this daycare.
