Noncompliance Area: ON 11/15/17, STAFF #1 ACKNOWLEDGED THAT A CHILD BEGAN DRINKING FROM A SIPPY CUP THAT BELONGED TO ANOTHER CHILD. STAFF #1 DID NOT REMOVE THE SIPPY CUP FROM THE CHILD CARE SPACE TO BE SANITIZED.

Correction Required: Toys soiled by secretion or excretion shall be cleaned with soap and water, rinsed and sanitized before being used by a child.

Noncompliance Area: ON 11/15/17, CHILD #6 WAS OBSERVED SLEEPING UNSUPERVISED IN A PACK N PLAY LOCATED DOWN THE HALL WITH THE DOOR CLOSED IN THE PROVIDER'S FIRST FLOOR BEDROOM. ADDITIONALY, THE PET DOG WAS OBSERVED IN THE BEDROOM WHERE CHILD #6 WAS SLEEPING. STAFF #1 WAS NOT PHYSICALLY PRESENT WITH THE DOG AND CHILD.

Correction Required: Children on the facility premises and on facility excursions off the premises shall be supervised by a staff person at all times. Outdoor play space used by the facility is considered part of the facility premises. Contact with pets by the children is permitted only when a staff person is physically present.

Correction Required: Protective receptacle covers shall be placed in electrical outlets accessible to children 5 years of age or younger.

Noncompliance Area: ON 11/15/17, CLEANING PRODUCTS WERE OBSERVED IN AN UNLOCKED KITCHEN CABINET ACCESSIBLE TO CHILDREN IN THE KITCHEN. ALSO, SUNTAN LOTION AND HAND LOTION AND ITEMS INSTRUCTING TO "KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN" WERE OBSERVED ON THE KITCHEN SHELF ACCESSIBLE TO CHILDREN.

Toxics shall be kept in a locked area or in an area inaccessible to children, and shall be stored away from food, food preparation areas and child care spaces.

Noncompliance Area: ON 11/15/17, DAMAGED PLASTER WAS OBSERVED ON THE WALL WHERE THE TOILET PAPER HOLDER WAS REMOVED AND ON THE HALF WALL IN THE CHILD CARE SPACE NEAR THE FRONT DOOR. PEELING PAINT AND DAMAGED WALLS WERE OBSERVED ON THE HALF WALL SEPERATING THE CHILD CARE SPACE, ON THE WALL IN THE DRAMATIC PLAY KITCHEN AREA. THE WALL UNDER THE COUNTERTOP SEPERATING THE KITCHEN AND PLAY SPACE WAS DIRTY.

Correction Required: Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces, including the facility's outdoor play area, shall be kept clean, in good repair and free from visible hazards.Peeled or damaged paint or damaged plaster is not permitted on indoor or outdoor surfaces in the child care facility.
