Daily records of arrival and departure times for children enrolled at the center were not maintained as children arrive and depart and/or were not made available for review. A staff member in the 4/5 year old classroom was overheard asking the children what time they arrived at school while completing the document. This does not reflect an accurate arrival time as children this age do not know this information.

Toys and other mouth-contact surfaces were not cleaned and sanitized daily when used or cleaned more frequently if visibly dirty. The outside toys were covered in mildew and the stuffed animals in the Toddler/2 year old room need to be washed.

All walls and ceilings including doors and windows were not kept clean and in good repair. The window seals and frames in the Toddler/2 year old classroom were chipping and had peeling paint. The ceiling in the School Age Room was also chipping and peeling.

All equipment and furnishings were not in good repair. There were 2 benches on the outside playground which were splintering. A broken/jagged clear bin was also on the outside playground. The frig in Dramatic Play of the 2/3 year old classroom was missing the top door.

Plastic bags, materials that could be torn apart and toy parts small enough to be swallowed were accessible to children under three years of age. A plastic bag containung clothes was observed in a child's cubby in the 2/3 year old room.

The EMC plan was not reviewed with all staff annually and whenever the plan was revised. One staff member did not have current documentation on file that the EMC plan was reviewed.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My daughter is currently attending this childcare center and we love the staff and I know my daughter is in the hands of other mothers that care. My daughter has many learned alot being in the small class allows her alot of one on one time learning colors,ABCs,writting and so much more.She will be graduating this year and starting kindergarten in the fall I know she is ready both educational and socially.
