Kid's Corner is a day care facility operating at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. Kid's Corner Day Care has maximum capacity of 99 children. The center accepts children ages of: 0 - 11 Months, 12 - 23 Months, 2 Years, 3 Years, 4 Years, 5 Years, 6 Years and Older. We also participate in the subsidized child care program as a DHS approved facility.

I worked for this daycare for 20 years,when it first opened under the direction of Miss Carol,it was an amazing childcare center,but the last director Julia was the worse director this place ever had,she was the 10th director in 14 years! This place can't keep teachers,because the director Julia would talk behind the employees back's and body shame them,she also talked about the parents and children something awful, the church secretary runs them off with her attitude and rudeness and the pastor isn't any better. The problem of the last director was brought to the attention of the pastor and the head of the board by 3 employees and then was addressed at a staff meeting in March of 2020,before the pandemic hit. When we returned on June 1, 2020,the same director was there,nothing had been taken care of as far as her,talking about her sex life( basically one night stands) and swearing in the hallways when children are walking back and forth to the restroom! Julia would spend her days upstairs talking to the pastor and church secretary,and would use any excuse to take off for weeks at a time! When the director was gone,the church secretary (who has no training as a director or no credentials) ran the place and told the office assistant that she would have to take upto a 2 to 3 hour break,because they were to cheap to by her overtime,so therefore there was no one in charge downstairs in the childcare center! The director would also let her son who at the time was under 18 years old,be alone with the kids and he had access to the computer where there is personal information,she also had an employee do a test for her in order to keep her director status. The place has gone down in the last 3 and 1/2 years and I wouldn't send my dog here,let alone my child
I o ly give one star because I had to....This daycare is awful and does not care about the kids or parents. All 3 of my grandchildren were dismissed. The oldest which is 3, they lost for 30 minutes then she got out of the secured door, therefore they kicked her out, said she was going to get them shut down. I called DHS on them, then they dismissed my twin grandbabies as the director, Julia was mad and thought my daughter had called them, which she didn't. Julia told my daughter she was spreading lies and and that she wasn't doing any favors for the director. I spoke to the pastor of the church which did nothing. I highly recommend you do not chose this horrible facility for you kids!I pray this place gets shut down or at least gets a new director.
