About the Provider
JW ELC is a start-up limited liability corporation (LLC) owned by Taurus Jackson and Kawalski Washington. JW ELC offers a full-service childcare/development facility that cares for children from age 6 weeks to 12-years-old. Through specialized training of the staff and innovative learning systems, JW ELC plans to lead the industry in terms of child development and education. Our Creative Curriculum, coupled with a custom designed facility, and a low teacher: student ratio, ensures a high quality of service for the children and the families being served. We offer services that are safe and secure, providing the parents with an excellent place where their children can be educated while being cared for with love. JW ELC will offer private pre-k program that connects with the local system, provide accessibility for Georgia's Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program participants, participate in federal nutrition programs, and become a three-star quality rated childcare center. Given the owners professional training, credentials, and distinguished experience, we will offer a better quality of childcare services and programs – as well as the accreditations – that the large, national chains do, at an affordable cost. We also promote father engagement as we will implement “Dad’s Take Over Week”, which will occur periodically throughout the year, providing fathers with the opportunity to engage in fun educational activities throughout the day with their children. This is intended to promote the presence of the father and highlight the importance of the male role in a child’s life. We intend to diversify our service offerings after our first year in business, thereby adding a mentoring program for children to include father, mother, brother, and sister programs which will add new revenue streams and increasing operating income.
