This facility allowed my 1 year old grandson weighing at 17.2 pounds to hit the floor head first yesterday 5/1/19. They have so many kids in one area that has to be a fire hazard. I thank God my baby is ok but, I want that place shut down. The lady that dropped him says she's been in daycare ten years which I find hard to believe. She was distracted and her excuse was that he was wiggling. What toddler sits steal at any given time? This center in McDonough was negligence and causing a huge hematoma to my grandson's forehead. He has only been there not even two months but yesterday was his last day. If I could give this center a -10 I would. They cram kids with no regards to the health or safety hazard.
My son has been with Inverness since he was 1 and a half. Now he is almost 4. The schedule time is great. It gives me the flexibility with my work plus all the teachers are compassion and care about each individual child. They also have several activity for each holiday and event, which I like it. The only draw back is that sometime they don't have enough teacher for each age group and have to send my child to younger age group due to many children for that class on that day and since my child is small and the youngest in the class. He alway got send to the younger group. I would like it is to be consistency. Other than that, everything is great, especially staffs.
Love this School!!! I must say I was very nervous about putting my children in this school. Just because of my past experience with previous daycares. I must say when I went to tour the school. I like the fact that the doors were lock 24/7 and they greet you at the door and they also they have cameras throughout their facilty.
I was very impressed when walking in this facilty it was very inviting.(CLEAN)
I was inquiring about my 1yr old and my 6yr old. I like the fact the Asst. Director introduce me to the Director as well as all the staff that work here. She also gave me a full tour of the entire facility even though I was inquring for my 1yr old and 6yr old. Every staff greated me with a smile. After I toured the facilty they sent me a thank you email for coming by. As well as a phone call. I must say my children love coming to Inverness.... And love getting that breakfast to go!! once a month for us single and busy parents!!!! Keep up yhe good work Inverness!!! Ps. check out their licence reports as well. They are in good standards!!!!!
All I can say is Peace of mind. I cannot say enough about the professional staff and the care at this center provides. I love the feeling that my child will be well taken care of when I leave. He is eager to go. Never cries when i leave and always smiling when I pick him up!!! Awesome Director Tosha Patrick!!!!
WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! Think twice and then "Think Never" about trusting this so called Daycare with your child/children. I'm a Firefighter/Medic of 11 years, most importantly I am a full-time parent and I must shamefully admit that the worst decision I've made so far as a parent was leaving my child under Iverness's care. I should have done better research and took heed to the already Horrible Reviews this Daycare already received. Firstly, the turnover ratio of teachers are outrageous which apparently is common in this industry in Stockbridge. However, Inverness had new teachers every week and the Administration doesn't even communicate with parents to notify them of changes. It seems as though their goal is to leave parents in the dark as to what really goes on after parents have dropped their children off. YOU will not know who is watching your child! There are a couple of Good teachers who work on the staff, but they appear to be getting Bullied "Literally " by the Director, so in return they will not speak up on what's really going on. The progress report of the day that you will receive when picking up your child is totally bogus! If you ask of your child's participation or daily activity it will vary among instructors never the same story. I have witnessed children being screamed at and totally humiliated by some of the teachers when they were unaware of my presence. My child began to regress in the three months under their care, he was afraid to speak and lost a great deal of confidence in himself. That prompted me and my wife to look more into what exactly was going on. I reached out several times and never received a response from the "Heavyset" Director Tosha. It got so awkward when we tried to seek resolutions for the ongoing problems that continue to build. Tosha would go to her office and close her door when we arrived to drop and pick up our child, and always find herself in a meeting when we made phone calls to reach her. Messages were left for her and we never received a response from the So-Called Director who is totally Ghetto and unprofessional. This is totally a situation where one "Big Apple" has rotten the whole bunch! Their slightly cheaper rates aren't worth the poor level of service you will receive. You get what you pay for! With all options of resolutions being exhausted, we opt to withdraw our children from their care and very next day we received our first response directly from "BIG Director" demanding money cause we didn't give a two weeks notice. We have seen improvements in my son after the first week of his departure from their facility, and that's what matters most to us! The environment we place our children in is so detrimental to their development, I will never make a choice to put my kids in this kind of situation Again. Think Never on Inverness, just a Heads Up!
My two children Love there school. They have been attending Inverness CDC for the last 8months. It is the best school ever. My daughter is learning her ABC, and is being potty trained. My son is in the before and after care program, his teacher gives him extra help with his homework everyday. I would highly recommend Inverness CDC to everyone. You will be glad you did.
