We had a horrific experience. My child was bullied by the principal, who by the way, has ZERO qualifacions to be in education. She's actually a realtor who woke up one day and decided to go to private school. The financial secretary, Michelle, is hateful and rude. They make up charges as they go with poor book keeping and even worse attendance records. They claimed my child was over the limit in absences, charged us for a farce of a summer school plan that we didn't agree to. Even with "absences" he had all high grades. They sent me to collections over services never rendered.
There is actually video footage of Michelle and her husband screaming at a fired employee. She screamed it isn't God's school, it's HER school. That is evident by her horrific behavior and attitude. Do not send your kids here unless you plan on putting them in therapy afterward.
Hi Dominique Palamatier,
I am sorry that you think you should air your grievances on social media. We do and always will require payment from parents for the services rendered. We enjoyed your kids here at Judah Christian Academy and hate that they were not able to stay. If you'd like to contact the school to discuss your outstanding balance, our number is 704.908.8088. Thank you and God Bless.
I would not recommend Judah Christian to any parent looking to experience a positive christian private school experience because they do not follow the same biblical policy or philosophy that they solicit or say that they stand by. They have administration in place that does not have the credentials or background to do the job that they’ve been hired to do but because it’s more like a mom and pop private school, they do whatever it is that they want. They have so many students behind grade level because they fire the teachers that actually want to do things the right way to add replacements that will do any undercover shady stuff that they want them to cover up. Michelle personally is beyond disrespectful and unethical and should never have the privilege of working one on one with parents. She says and does whatever she wants to any and everybody and gets away with it just because her father bought the facility. Their is absolutely no accountability. I asked several times to review my bill because every time I paid a large amount of money to cover the balance of my bill, the next week it was always back up tremendously. When I requested to review my bill she stated that she would not allow me to review my bill by myself unless I came to her office , paid $20 an hour and went through the bill with her. After going back and forth several times trying to get a resolution and I couldn’t get one from anyone, because no one wanted her to get mad, I decided to go ahead and agree to pay the $20 an hour to review my bill and the mysterious $246.00 that was now added to the bill from some magical place, that was not Heaven . She then tells me No, she was not wasting her time going through my bill, if I didn’t like it she would send it to a collection agency and wouldn’t be releasing my children’s report cards until the collection agency told her that it was paid. They also do absolutely nothing to be proactive to adequately stop or prevent the spread of Covid, they don’t mandate their students to wear masks, they have large events such as basketball games that they don’t require students, family or staff to wear masks, they don’t implement any kind of social distancing. I actually am going to upload text messages from Michelle where my husband, myself, our baby, our daughter and everyone in the house was positive for Covid except our 2 boys and since my oldest son was on their basketball team and nominated for homecoming Prince she asked if I could just take him to my mothers house and allow her to bring him to the game and homecoming, when I brought to her attention that it’s against CDC guidelines because he was still exposed by being in the house with us, which he did a few days later test positive for Covid 19, if we would have listened to her then he could have infected all of the rest of the basketball team and his classmates.
I also went to the office to speak to her about my bill, before we were affected with Covid and she asked was I done, I said I wasn’t she walked away and began loudly talking about me to Miranda the office clerk and said why is she still here? Well she can stay but I’m leaving, I have stuff to do. She packed up her belongings and left right out of the office. Now today, praying and being patient thinking that since I pulled my children out of the school, didn’t report them, didn’t return back after our quarantine that by this point things would’ve boiled over and she would have came to her senses, I called the phone and a very professional Lady answered and told me she’d get me my sons report card sent so he could begin this upcoming school year at another christian private school, Michelle gets on the phone saying, we won’t be sending anything to you unless you pay the balance. I again asked her to go over it with me, she said she would not be going over it with me I can either pay it or send it to collections, Was there anything else I needed because she had other things to do. I continued speaking explaining to her my concerns and she hung up on me and told me if I came up their she would be calling police to have me removed and banned from the property. At this point, I thought enough was enough and everyone needed to know the truth behind this “private”‘should be shut down acting public school. This school should be free. I will be also sending text messages, pictures from the games of no one wearing masks, invoices…etc to every agency supporting or funding this school so they can know how their funds are truly being dispersed because it is definitely not to hire professional, accredited staff and/ or to give a quality education to any student present, unless you can be friends, hang out or be buddy- buddy with them outside of school. I am very upset and unpleased that this school has given me so much of an awful experience in less than one grading cycle. I even tried to resolve this off line by asking if the Principal Mrs. Nichols could give me a call and Michelle reassured me that her sister would not want to speak with me or give me a call when her sister actually was the only one of the two with at least a little experience on knowing how to have effective, professional and ethical conversations with parents.
From a honest, concerned parent: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, DO YOUR FULL RESEARCH, ASK TO SEE THE TEACHERS AND ADMINS DEGREES, EDUCATION BACKGROUND, ASK about test scores and invest in a private school that you can tell the difference between a Christian private school and a 1 star public…. There are many amazing private schools in the area and surrounding.
Sincerely,
A very unhappy& unpleased Parent
