Description: The Grace School was established in 2003 by Mark and Amy Simmons, parents, who like yourself desired a high quality early childhood environment for their daughter, Savannah Grace, for whom the school was named after. Amy holds her Bachelor degree in Child Development while Mark's degree is in Environmental Health, both are graduates of Western Carolina University. Mark and Amy grew up in the Stanley community and value family relationships; understanding the difference that a family friendly learning environment can make in the life of a child. They now have three children who are growing up at The Grace School, their extended family.
Prior to opening The Grace School, Amy worked with children ages birth to three years of age with diagnosed developmental disabilities and is a certified Infant and Toddler specialist through the state of NC. Amy also worked with the Bright Beginnings Pre-Kindergarten program through Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools screening children for program elgibility.
Currently, Amy holds her level three administration credentials through the NC Division of Child Development and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Partnership for Children of Lincoln and Gaston County. Aside from day to day operations at the school, Ms. Amy also spends time advocating for the needs of young children, especially funding for subsidized child care to help parents that can not afford to pay for child care. The Grace School accepts child care vouchers from all surrounding counties.

Awesome place... My granfson attends this faycare and I feel he is in good hands as soon as he enters the door... Love his Teachers and I have found not one thing about this day-care they have cameras and any incidents are reported right away... Nothing to complain about with the Grace School I highly recommend this School
My grandson goes to The Grace School and I would not want him anywhere else. It is a small family oriented school were all the teachers know and love all the children and families. If you want an excellent learning ecperience and loving enviornment for your child this is the place for them.
