Hunt Valley Country Day is dedicated to every child's development as a whole, healthy, mindful person. We recognize all children as valuable, contributing members of our greater community. Our vision is one of a welcoming atmosphere where children learn and grow in a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity and self-confidence. We hope to strengthen and build upon children's natural curiosity about the world. We see ourselves as providing opportunities for children to practice traits that will enable them to be successful learners, both in and out of the classroom setting. School should be FUN!

We offer the materials and opportunities to engage children in active learning while facilitating a sense of success, belonging and connection. We promote and build upon tools children need to be successful global citizens. We encourage critical thinking, compassion and respect for all.
