Hope Lutheran School

Hope Lutheran is a private Christian school located in beautiful West Seattle, just minutes from downtown Seattle. Hope Lutheran School is committed to providing quality academic instruction and equipping students from preschool through grade 8 for lifelong learning. Our class sizes foster academic excellence with an average classroom student to teacher ratio of 18:1. Hope Lutheran School is fully accredited through the National Lutheran School Accreditation and Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. Recognizing that each child has unique abilities, Hope nurtures every student in body, mind and spirit, in a community that cares and lives the Christian faith. Our rigorous academic curriculum is enhanced by specialty teachers in music, physical education, science, computers, art, and foreign language (Spanish and French). Technology is integrated into the curriculum with a designated computer lab as well as computers in every classroom. We provide opportunities for students who are ready to receive extra academic challenges in areas such as advanced math and accelerated reader. We also offer resource assistance to students who may need extra support in core subject areas. In addition, we have an established Discovery Program that is affiliated with the National Institute for Learning Disabilities (NILD). Hope Lutheran School offers before and after school enrichment through our licensed Extended School Care (ESC) program.
