I’ve always felt uneasy leaving my child with Kathy McDaniel. I thought it was just me over thinking because I’m a first time parent and this was my first daycare. NOPE! I kept noticing stuff when I brought my child home; like only 1 or 2 diapers were used, how Kathy had my child in the car seat and by the door within seconds even when I come unannounced, rash on my baby's lower back from the diaper rubbing on the skin – I mean how does a baby get a rash on their lower back??? Unless she’s been leaving my child in the car seat ALL DAY!!! (Hint, hint!) I also noticed when I dropped off my baby, the other baby were in the car seat, too, and I know the parent dropped their baby off at least an hour ago… and the list goes on. She never told me how many kids she had exactly or encouraged random drop in's. I finally made the decision to stop going there when my child came home with a sweaty back (of course in the car seat ALL DAY!) and no explanation from her! I have a bad feeling she doesn’t take these infants/babies out of the CAR SEAT!!! Despite her "nice" personality, she clearly does not care for the babies. Please, learn from my mistake. I do not want other parents to experience this and wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone. Always follow your instincts, especially when it’s the SAFETY of your child.
I now know I'm not over thinking it because my child is going to new daycare and we LOVE it! And I don't have that uneasy feeling anymore.
