Description: Founded in 1984, Hollingworth Preschool is often described as a hybrid program, influenced by a range of educational theories and approaches, as well as progressive beliefs in pedagogy and how children learn best through inquiry, through play, and through self-reflective approaches as they learn through experience. We often use the term child-responsive to describe our approach as we work from the children's knowledge, interests and needs to explore topics as a community of learners.
