My name is Temia "Mia" Holliday and I am the owner of As They Grow Child Care, a licensed home daycare located in Rock Island in an excellent neighborhood a few houses down from the Horace Mann Early Learning Center and very close to Blackhawk Road, Saukie Golf Course and Unity Point Hospital 7th Street. I have operated a home daycare for the last 18 years. I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology and I currently hold an ECE Level 1 Childcare Credential. I have over 22 years of childcare experience stemming from my current occupationa as a Licensed Home Daycare Provider as well as from my past work experiences as a former Famliy Worker at Family Resources, a former Teacher at Just Kids II, and a former Site Supervisor for the Moline YMCA Before and After School Program. I am fully insured and I participate in the USDA Food Program. I am also a member of the Skip-A-Long Home Child Care Network. I offer an intergrated learning curriculum emphasizing the development of social skills. I operate under the motto of " encouraging growth and development through play". I provide a safe, child-friendly, family-orientated environment - a "home away from home" where children can grow and develop.

Provider First Licensed in 09/2001. 1st Shift Care available Monday-Friday ; 3rd Shift/Overnight Care available Sunday-Thursday and every other weekend ( Fri & Sat).
