I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My children have all attended His Kids, in fact my oldest started back when they first opened. My youngest is now in the toddler room at the new facility. You could not ask for kinder, more caring staff. Patricia works hard to make sure that Christian values are modeled and it reflects. My middle child had some special needs, and they were wonderful at working with him and his therapists to set him up to succeed and now he’s thriving in school. Staff turnover seems low, and the building is always clean and welcoming. I’d say we were customers for 6 years, but at this point it feels more like family. You won’t regret sending your child here.

Equality and racism are not political issues... They are human rights issues! You are on the song side of history and should be ashamed.

Mr. Director and anyone else that was involved in the six year old child being put out of the school literally for wearing a black lives matter shirt or any other item with black lives matter on it SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!! If you felt there was a problem with what that baby was wearing the mature adult in you should have had a conversation with the parent of that baby not put her out as discarded trash. Is this the type of place that parents should feel comfortable leaving their little ones in your trust NO WAY! Because of the behavior of your staff or yourself makes you untrustworthy ???????????? 3 thumbs down for you sir

I do not have children in this daycare but have read the story online where apparently, once again, the media are trying to hurt another business. So I just wanted to say something about this issue.
I believe everyone should be able to express themselves the way they would like to as long as there is no violence involved.
BUT!!! You should have to be old enough to know what you are supporting before you are allowed to do so in anyway!! I DO NOT THINK that anyone should involve their little children! And NO, no one should be taught about racism or hate at a young age!!! All of our babies are not born to hate so why are we trying to teach them to hate?
So I think this daycare did EXACTLY what they should have done!!! As babies, 3,4,5, and on and on, they should have little bears, rainbows, trucks, things like that on their clothing. Not Black Lives Matter or any other political or racial things. They don't even know what it is. Which goes back to my point... they are not born to hate they are taught to hate! And this goes for black, white, brown, yellow, every race not just one!!!
So good for this DayCare for standing up for all the children in there and not letting any kind of hate be brought inside!

I do not recommend this daycare. I feel it is very racist. They caused trauma to a six year old child just because she wore a shirt someone felt was against their beliefs, when the shirt was just in support of black people not being slaughtered by the police. All lives matter people are racist, privileged and ignorant. They certainly are not Christian. This daycare is horrible. Not an example of Christian fellowship or in any way a way Jesus would approve of.

Shame on you for expelling a child for wearing a shirt that says her life matters. I would never trust you to educate my children properly and I would be very skeptical that my children were being treated the same based on their skin color. Are you teaching other children to hate?? Again...SHAMEFUL

I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

They believe in silencing black voices. They judge black parents based on the desire to make their child and their denied rights visible. If this is how they openly treat children I am saddened to think what is said and done behind closed doors. What can they possibly be telling young minds when they are clearly aware of race and the world around them? I would not want my black child there but I also would not want ANY child there. The world is not a bubble and there is a responsibility and respectful way to educate young children.

I would love love love a preschool that started teaching kids early about how to love and respect one another. Too bad this isn’t the place. All these reviews about how “kids should be kids” is exactly how ignorant and rude people are formed. We can’t shelter the future generations of the pain we are going through now. We should teach them empathy, love, and understanding. That’s not political at all. It’s humanity! It’s what’s going on RIGHT NOW. What if your kids have questions? What if that shirt allows for discourse and learning? Isn’t that why a childcare center should be about? And for the hundredth thousandth time- Black Lives Matter does NOT indicate that ONLY black lives matter. Get it?! It’s not meant to exclude - it’s meant to shed light on the injustice that black communities face every day. For example - not being allowed to wear a t-shirt.

I seriously pray for all of you. God teaches us to love everyone and yet there is so much hate in this world and in these reviews.

This is obviously a very divisive issue, an yet there are people who refuse to acknowledge that it is absolutely political. This isn't about racism. It's about offending people. The truth that so many don't want to accept is that BLM is offensive to a lot of people who are not racist. The reality is that most people who are not comfortable with the BLM message are not racist. You actually can want equality for all, acknowledge that police brutality is wrong and needs to be addressed, be horrified by what happened to George Floyd and hope his murderer never sees the light of day, and at the same time not be comfortable with the BLM message. Their message isn't a peaceful loving message. It creates conflict, and it does so on purpose. It's political. Children shouldn't be pawns. I wonder if the parents took their daughter to an area where there was rioting and looting to give her the true BLM experience-if they are so concerned about their daughter's education about BLM. I also wonder if this facility is so outlandishly racist, how did they hide that fact for so long? They did such a good job of hiding their racism that they got black families to put their children in their care. My suspicion is that there are black children that have been going there for years. Why would these parents keep taking their children to a place that was so racist? It just doesn't seem to make sense. Could it be possible that they aren't racist at all, and they simply didn't want to have an innocent child used as a vehicle for what is obviously a political statement? Of course that is not only possible, it's certainly most likely. Crying racism because someone is offended by BLM is going to continue to prevent the open dialogue that is needed. I would suggest trying to understand what it is about BLM that makes people so uncomfortable. You need to talk. But just dismissing someone as racist is only going to make the healing delayed or worse, impossible. I applaud their bravery in standing up to make the environment for children safe and friendly (which I have never heard anyone describe BLM as a safe and friendly organization).

EXCELLENT WORK!!! Don't let entitled parents force you to submit to their demands. Deval Brockman tried to bully you into succumbing to her demand and she 'CHOSE' to go against the rules of your daycare even after given a warning. Deval's selfishness put her child in this predicament, she has only herself to blame. Deval's political ideals shouldn't make her exempt from the rules of your establishment. Thank you for keeping the other kids and parents free from being force fed the ideals of others.

Very proud of this Daycare, wish there was more like it! A daycare is not the place for a race war. A child should not be made to feel that their lives don’t matter if they are not black. But if we gonna be honest most of the kids in daycare can’t read, so that means more like it is the parents opinion and not the six year olds. If the mother really cared how this made her daughter feel then she would not have sent her back with the second shirt on. She was just trying to make her point. Let the mother go to one of her protest but leave the daycare out of it!

I want to show full support for your school and staff regarding the recent controversy surrounding Black Lives Matter and the Fist. BLM is a Marxist organization (read their website - they don't try to hide what they stand for) that wants to deconstruct the American way of life. They are anti-capitalists, they promote violence, and they don't care about black Americans despite the name. I agree that daycare has no room for political agendas. Keeping that garbage out is the right thing to do. Know we have your backs.

Former customer. The facility is clean and safe, but I always got a strange vibe. I always felt like I was "good customer" because I am white, my wife is white, and our children are white. We told my wife's parents about our concerns. They insisted on taking over daycare for our two children. In the words of my in laws, "we will not raise the next generation of racists. "

I feel parents political views and personal views need to stay out of a child's education. The shirt is just a shirt but what's written on it or pictures on it matters. When what is written or pictures is associated with racism (that only one race matters and people of other races dont, and feel inferior). Most schools have a dress code policie against children wearing things to schools that are offensive, racist( When it talks about an individual's skin color or nationality or when one race matters but not all do) Which that shirt does say. There should be no problem to dress students appropriately or maybe the school should have the students where uniforms. It sounds like this place is a private establishment which it can dictate what you can and can't wear as long as we're not discriminating on race which it does not sound like. Maybe people should find a different school if they don't like going here. This is America everybody has rights and so do businesses.

This parent got exactly what she wanted. She was told not to dress the child in that type of attire and she deliberately and willfully defied the rules of the preschool. She wanted the attention of being a victim. The owners of this business should not be vilified for wanting to maintain a politically neutral environment for children. Just because a person of color doesn’t like something, doesn’t make it racist.

This is a wonderful establishment that truly cares for children. Political views promoted under the guise of humanitarian causes by the parents have no place in a preschool setting. Do you seriously think a six year old knows what the shirt means with its racist message? What Mother puts her child in that situation? Why would you even consider putting a six year old child in a shirt like that? If another child wore White Lives Matter, Hispanic Lives Matter, Asian Lives Matter you’d be offended. Childhood is supposed to be a time of learning and fun, not political positioning. I fully support the pre-school and their decision.

This care facility kicked out a 6 year old over wearing a Black lives matter shirt, directly letting her know that her life matters less than the rest of the students. This is disturbing and reflects the hateful, immoral views of the child care providers here. Do not take your kids here unless you want them indoctrinated into being a racist before they can multiply. There is NOT equal treatment, and the employees here are not on the right side of humans rights issues. They made that clear. 0/10 would never recommend. White supremacists, congrats, you’ve found your match for childcare.

I agree with the way the school handled things Parents USE their children too much to publicize their own point of view AND think they are SO right NO it is ignorance !!
Also STOP for those people using religion ! That is YOUR point of view only !!
The school was very tactful they don’t need politics in a children’s learning environment to make people agree or choose sides
Let children BE children!
Good luck to the Principals of the school and to your supporters

This mother received a perfectly acceptable request from the school to not send her child in that type of t-shirt. She made the poor choice to disregard that and send her child to school in the same type of shirt the very next day. These "Black Lives Matter" posters, t-shirts, banners, etc. are doing nothing more that promoting racism by perpetuating the "us against them, black against white" mentality. I applaud the school for standing up for their beliefs and not allowing the mother to use her child as a pawn in her racism platform!

To those who have said they bet it is only black people giving 1 star. You are wrong, I am white and I'm sure there are many other white people who have given this place one star after hearing the story about the 6 year old girl sent home for wearing a black lives matter t-shirt. The thing is I am a white person who grew up around people of all types of races and backgrounds. I am not from a small predominantly white community like the communities in a state like Arkansas. Many from the rest of the nation see states like Arkansas as small minded and ignorant. Ignorant - unknowledgeable. All you know, all you have grown up with, all you are ever around, is predominately white people. The reason it says "Black Lives Matter" isn't because they are trying to say that only black lives matter and no other lives matter. What it is saying is that a lot of people treat black people as if their lives dont matter. BLM is not a hate group. For the director to get that upset about the shirt and to kick the child out because of it, is appalling. If it was truly just about not having politics in daycare the director would have been much more calm about it and wouldn't have kicked the kid out. Her reaction was out of line and unprofessional and driven by emotion. I bet she wouldn't care if a kid showed up in a "Make America Great Again" t-shirt political or not.

How dare you kick out a child for wearing a Black Lives Matter t-shirt! What exactly does the teacher not agree with on the t-shirt? There's only three words Black, Lives, or Matter. Which one? The parent has the absolute right to build confidence and share values with their children and should not be perceived as a political statement rather it is a statement of humanity. Your daycare does not need to be in operation if you don't understand this position. To all the trolls that are supporting you in this, shame on you!

I feel that this facility did the right thing in asking the parents to please keep their political views away from their 6yo child and not dress her in such tshirts. First of all, the child does not even understand what all this means. We all know that the parent is simply trying to voice their opinions through their child, which in my opinion is both unfair and immature. I am of the belief that All Lives Matter and to distinguish that black lives are the only lives that are important is irrational and just plain wrong. I know that daycares and schools are faced with many challenges, now more than ever. I commend the school for making this decision and sadly it's the child who is suffering and missing out in the end.

I feel in these trying times we are experiencing, that their actions to limit the political propaganda in the children's environment is wise. It seems the only ones with issues are the one's trying to push their own agenda's. Cudos to this business for trying to remain neutral.

I am not familiar with this school but totally agree with their stance, that adults should not use their children to provide their opinion and political views within a school environment. Daycare and school should be a safe place for all kids of all backgrounds.

politics have not place in daycare - the claim it is just a shirt is invalid everyone is putting the child in the middle of something they should not - if it was another child wearing another tshirt with a political message there would be hell to pay and the child and parents chastised for bringing this into the day care environment it was done to provoke and create conflict!!

That is not a political view because the child is wearing a T-shirt which says Black Lives Matter. It is the same thing if a child is wearing a T-shirt that has a brand name company on it. The owner and teacher seems to be the ones that are caught up into “Their Political Views”... “Shut It Down”

I have been an educator for 30 years, my degree is in Early Childhood Education. I was the Director of Christian Education at my church for 4 years. The other years were in the Public School. I am white. I have two grown children which I raised to be "color blind." I was wrong. It was not enough. White people need to know it is not enough to see people as equal, rather we need to see the injustices which plague the Black community. We need to acknowledge the struggles and dangers Black people face simply because of their skin color. Preschoolers are accepting. They are not color blind. They do see color, but they don't have a value judgement of color. We need to teach them to stand up for people of color and as they grow and fight against injustice. The T-Shirt saying "Black Lives Matter" could act as an innocent conversation starter. And yes, I know all lives matter. But it is the Black Lives that are being ended on our streets purely because they are Black. Children need to know that sometimes people treat people badly because they are a different color. They need to know this is wrong and they need to stand up for their friends when this happens. Yes, yes, they should stand up for all their friends, but their Black friends are ones our society is targeting now. I need to also mention that this is a Christian preschool. I assume this by the name, His Kids Preschool. Jesus was one to stir the pot, unafraid to stand up to social injustice. I am sure he approves of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Maintaining the right attitude towards people around. If you want to educate your children properly, then you are welcome here. All negative reviews were written by the followers of the murdered drug addict, under the guise of whose name these blacks steal things and arrange lynching, shooting at children and people. Just don’t forget that more than half of the black people did not graduate the school and they don’t have any job.

I agree with the school that there are proper forums for dissention. Let the adults work out the details, don't enlist children to carry a message of hate. BLM is a reference to hate (crimes). A preschool is not the place for protest nor is a football field during a game.

As a father of 5 children, I find it fascinating that in this "woke" , angry, post GOD-centric world we have sunk to, that the sqweeky wheel never fails to run it's mouth and come to the "rescue" of a parent using their child to continue pushing a false narrative that only foments hate and division .I'm certain this daycare is of fine repot and character, and I know that, because the representative who gave the statement to the NEWS story,  ( where all these " out of towners " heard about this in the first place ) spoke the honest truth about the inappropriate shirts that represent a message a 6 year old couldn't possibly fully understand all the ramifications of .

I read this story and I just wanted to let the daycare know that I support them. I fully support the fact that this daycare is focused on children learning to play together, learn together and love each other. Race should not be brought into this. Children are not pawns nor are they platforms to use to express their parents political and social beliefs, especially when it is such a controversial issue. I would think a parent would be most concerned with the fact that their children are being cared for and taken care of and are safe and happy. How do we as, a people ever expect to teach our children to love each other and not to consider a person's skin color when we constantly fight. We are not showing love here people. It's not right to suggest this daycare is racist or that it should be shut down simply because they are standing behind their beliefs which just so happen to be equality and isnt that what all this is "SUPPOSED" to be about anyway? It's racism to wear a shirt with a fist on it and we all know that. We all know what that means and if you don't then please feel free to do your research and find out it stands for black power. It's not right for ANY race to promote hate, no matter what grounds they base it on. Either literally become part of the solution which is to love your neighbor as yourself or shut up and sit down because you are part of the problem. Fair is fair and I am proud of this daycare for not bowing to societal pressures. Keep standing firm and good looking out to the director and all employees of this daycare. God bless America, we all need to keep praying for all hearts in America.

I am an employee

The Mother is not allowed put her views on a little boys t-shirt, in attempt to promote what IS RIGHT, says more about your views and extreme actions than anything she intended. No Mother would throw their child to the wolves of your Racist views being projected on innocent children and their Parents.
So, WAKE UP! Long overdue CHANGE IS COMING TO AMERICA!
Couldn't you have given that little boy, a few more years, before he has to get, so, painfully hurt. Hurt from hateful, unjust, cruel, and just plain meanness he will have to endure from people like you. This 6 year old little boy, though, he corrects his Mother, saying, "I'm not a Little boy, I'm a Big boy.",thankfully, is gone from your preschool. But he Learned a Huge Lesson from your cruel, abusive, and RACIST
actions on this subject. Do you really think this little,Big, boy understood the topic? All the children in your school have been subjected to your extremely racist treatment, too, toward this
Little Guy. It's hard for any child to digest "what the ..., why,
Do we still get to have story time?" "Why do you have hate in your heart?"
The whole point is: say there's 2 t-shirts.
1 says BLACK LIVES MATTER
1 is an AMERICAN FLAG
aren't they different on the outside, but
the same on the inside?
It is true!
Every child comes into the world with a blank book.
We write the pages in their books.
All the pages have been precious, in order to raise a
Happy, Healthy, Resilient Child.
YOU, RUINED HIS BOOK!!!
I wish for him resiliency so he can RIP YOU OUT OF HIS LIFE!
YOU SHOULD NEVER BE AROUND CHILDREN.
WHAT YOU TEACH TO THESE LITTLE KIDS IS CHILD ABUSE!
It has to be illegal. My Daughter is an Attorney, and interviewing for Judgeship, here in Arizona. She will help me with with what's going on in your preschool.
There's Karma. I do hope its not a virus

I have grandchildren enrolled here now and in the past. Every one who is posting about the 6 yr. old and her shirt saying black lives matter, more than likely are all African Americans. If they saw a shirt saying, "WHITE LIVES MATTER," or "INDIAN LIVES MATTER," or "JEWISH LIVES MATTER," or "BLUE LIVES MATTER," they would be telling the school to make that kid change their shirt or kick the kid out. All of these Black so called Americans are the MOST RACIST GROUP OF PEOPLE EVER! They are even Racist towards JESUS! They would be jumping for joy to see a kid wear a shirt saying "DOWN WITH THE POLICE," "STEAL THEN BURN THE STORE DOWN." They want to make this a BLACK LIVES MATTER deal and it's not. Those shirts were not bought by the kid, nor told to wear to school by the kid. THE PARENTS BOUGHT THE SHIRTS AND HAD THE KIDS WEAR THEM. They are filling a future generation of adults on how to be racist against anything they say. If the school could afford it, they should kick out every kid whose parents posted the racist comments here. More than likely, the kid who was "LET GO, NOT KICKED OUT, DUE TO A PARENT'S BEHAVIOR" had her friends in the black lives matter group post everything here, as the parent said to take the school down with a bunch of 1 star reviews, all because a parent wanted every kid in the class to see HER BELIEFS, not her child's. BLM is turning into a hate every one if they are not black. Burn and destroy and steal if the owner is not black. Their names are Rioters, Looters, Vandals, and yes, Murderers. Almost every death in the protests has been by a black man. Put that on your black kids shirt. I had 11 children and now have 16 grandchildren, half are black, 1/4 are mixed, and 1/4 are white. They know no color. They see the BLM group destroying city after city and laughing about it. They see BLM screaming at innocent bystanders. They see BLM killing Black people. That's what your BLM is teaching my grandchildren, and they want nothing of it. THANK GOD! If I could give this school 100 stars I would! ***************************

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This is a very clean, caring and responsible daycare.  They have never had any violations after being ckecked out a number of times.  I am impressed with their preparatory reading program and the obviously well-trained teachers and caregivers employed there.  I have great respect for the His Kids Preschool staff, and admire the staff's courage in enforcing the policy that no parent should be allowed to send their child to school or daycare wearing a political message intended to antagonize and spread more hatred.  Children in this age range are very inquisitive.  They would be asking what the shirt says and means, and why the girl is wearing it.   The shirt was obviously intended to teach preschool aged children that white people are bad people.

I must applaud this school for taking a stand against the promotion of BLM - a Marxist organization that uses violence and lies to promote it's own brand of racism, hatred. BLM is simply the other side of the KKK coin; both are organizations that qualify as domestic terrorists and should be eliminated, much like Antifa needs to be removed.

I can't believe this school would kick out a 6yr student for supporting the right for people to live equally. As a white father of 3 children it is extremely important to me that my children understand the state that this great nation is in when it comes to racial inequality. Every generation needs to work to progress these injustices and the best time to start is as early as they can understand the issue. This school missed an opportunity to teach love. I would never send my children to a school that doesn't support a students right to express their justifiable support to other human beings right to live. All lives cannot matter until all races matter equally.

One star minus one star equals zero stars! This place is deplorable! They have obviously been waiting for an outlet to express their racist views. Now you hide behind a child and judge her mother's choice of clothing. You make me sick! You are telling this child and all those in who witnessed your outrageous act that her life doesn't matter to you, regardless of the truth & knowledge you have of the heinous acts of violence and inequality that Black people face daily; that you don't care because it isn't happening to you, and your are saying that you will not show her any care nor equal opportunity because her fight to be treated fairly scares you. You're afraid that to support her right to live means that you might have to give up your lily white privilege. You cowards! You so call christians making such a profession without the ability to live it out! You make me sick!! You make me sick!! I call for daycares with openings to contact Journei's mother make a place for the beautiful brave girl to spend her days, and help her Momma go to work with peace of mind that her child is safe and well, and cared for with kindness. I wish it wasn't so difficult to find daycare because I here and now encourage ALL parents to remove their children from the den of deception. With attitudes like this what other discriminating ideals are they imposing; what subliminal messages are your children wrestling with from these racist idiots? If you love God, love others, you can change your world. If you can't look past your own greed and fears to love and lift up an innocent child the love of God IS NOT IN YOU

Sometimes it is tough when there isn't a space for negative stars. Being from another state and possibly a very different era, but there are some younger generations who appear to not care; with that being the culture and behavior it is amazing to see the young people who are now aware of how to change things with peaceful protest and voting to make the changes. It is shameful that humans may try but never seem to make it to emulate the love by saying they follow the words (lip service), but their own actions show us the difference. Remember that love trumps hate.

After reading about the child who was not allowed to return to school after wearing a Black Lives Matter and I Can’t Breath T-shirt because they are “political, I had to let this school know they are on the wrong side of history. 1st of all, these are NOT political statements, they are HUMANITARIAN. As educators, you need to rethink your views.
I would never send a child of mine there to learn your racist views.

A direct message to the administration. As an early childhood educator I am disgusted by this story and hope it’s not true. I’d hate to think any person or persons in education, particularly early childhood, would ever abuse a child by discriminating against them because of their personal adult views. I don’t care what side of the issue of preserving black lives you may be on, when you charge a innocent, vulnerable child with hate speech you are repugnant and should never be exposed to our most sensitive population. Adults with political views fought interventions in the classroom for students with special needs, they promoted segregation, they agreed anyone who isn’t a white male doesn’t deserve to read or write. It’s time to put away racism, sexism and old ideas of inclusion. Anyone who argues if black lives matter should not be teaching black lives! Anyone who sensors free speech and expression should re-evaluate their on values. You taught this child, this baby a lesson she will never forget. You likely are the first of many stains in her soul, a blow to her self-esteem and abuse to her dream and hopes. It’s too bad she has to learn these lessons at such an early age. But maybe it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to her. But for you ignorance and hate she may have continued to be left unsupervised in your abusive presence. Black Children’s Lives (hopes, dreams, ideas) matter! More than yours!

I had to take my child out of this facility. Their caregivers create an unsafe environment for kids and can have a long lasting negative impact on them. Highly recommend avoiding them, there are many better options in the Russellville area.

One unanswered question here is whether the "political views" issue is included in any of the contractual agreements that the Center must have parents sign before the child can attend. If there is no reference to the expression of political viewpoints, then the school's director has made a capricious, arbitrary decision with no foundation, and in that case it would appear to be personally directed at this family. If such political expression is referred to in the agreements signed by the parents, then the director should have specifically referred to those documents and/or other specific school policy. In the absence of this reference, it seems clear that this is an arbitrary decision that reflects personal animus by the Director (and the Board, or whatever equivalent is there, and possibly other parents) toward BLM and racial issues in general. Do the illustrations in the books the children see show children of diverse origin? Are there stories, religious and otherwise, that include a variety of experiences outside of an Arkansas monoculture? Under the circumstances it is very likely not the case. The White plaint that "we don't see color, so why do you bring it up?" is transparent denial of clear historical and present-day facts of racial bias, discrimination, and persecution against Blacks. To deny these facts, and claim to teach the Gospel of an all-loving Savior, is hypocrisy of high degree.

This place does not value all of its students or their lives. They turned a mother and daughter, who had been going to their school, away because they expressed their value of all lives through a t shirt. TWICE. This place is obviously heartless and lack the empathy to run children.

If you want children to feel safe, seen, and loved take your child elsewhere! A child was told that she can longer attend a daycare with her friends, because she wore a shirt that states her right to be seen and treated as fully human as her white peers. This should have been a celebrated act. This should have been used perhaps as moment of discussion about what is being seen and heard in the news today. Instead, they traumatize her by kicking her out of a supposedly safe place. Think about the effects this has had on her and the other children in this daycare.

Anyone considering having this preschool watch over their child needs to read this awful story. This is so sad that they would kick a 6-year old girl out of their facility for expressing her views and standing up for her own life. This daycare should be ashamed of their actions.

DON'T SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!! This place is corrupted and silences children's voices. They banned a six-year-old girl from wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt! The officials and staff at this school won't let your your kids practice their first amendment right of free speech. They refuse to accept what is going on in the world right now with the Black Lives Matter Movement and instead choose to oppress those kids who stand for something as it doesn't align with their values. This is supposed to be a place of learning and acceptance yet THIS PLACE IS EVIL AND CORRUPT. You'd be better off at another facility that actually allows children to express themselves freely.

Headline: A 6-year-old girl was kicked out of a daycare center for wearing Black Lives Matter shirts. It's this daycare. His Kids staff released a statement saying child care spaces should not be political and the parent of the child reports that staff asked her to rethink her parenting. Well "His Kids," if a 6 year old can't wear a BLM shirt, I suggest ya'll need to remove the crosses from round your necks, 'cause it sounds like you don't want young ears exposed to ideas about wrongful death or loving your neighbor. Period. Just thought ya'll should know! https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/lifestyle-buzz/a-6-year-old-girl-was-kicked-out-of-a-daycare-center-for-wearing-black-lives-matter-shirts/ar-BB16iXzL?ocid=spartan-ntp-feeds

There is absolutely NO place for a teacher, director, child care center to deny a child and their families beliefs because of personal beliefs. There is NO place for that in this field. And there is NO place for a director to tell a parent to “re-evaluate how your parenting her”. This is unacceptable. A child care center should be a safe space for children and families. I’m glad this family will no longer be attending. But as a child care center, YOU should reconsider who you hire at your center, and for this who work there, QUESTION YOUR Employers about this. A child care center is not babysitting. It’s providing the resources and tools needed for appropriate child development. And you did the complete opposite.

So Called Christians 2020-07-04 07:55:18

Saw a disturbing news story about this so called christian day care criticizing the mother of a 6yr old black child about how she was raising her child because the mother allowed the child to wear a "Black lives matter" shirt. As a so called christian preschool, they should know better than to conflate human rights with what they are calling a political view. I don't think christ would agree with the school's view that this 6yr old is somehow promoting racism by wearing a blm shirt. If anything the preschool itself is the one promoting racism in their view that pointing out systemic racism in policing is some how political. The mother of the 6 yr old was told not to bring her child back.

It is disgusting that you work with children yet want no part in supporting children of color's future. You don't deserve to have a preschool if you aren't advocating for children of color during this very important time in today's world. Children should be free to express themselves and stand up for themselves no matter the age or color. You should be ashamed of your recents actions towards Journei Brockman and her family. You are truly a disgrace to all educators around the world.

Just speaking with some of the staff and being guided around the school you can feel tension. Jot only does this school believe in human rights but they stole a child's innocence by licking her out of the school for wearing a black lives matter shirt. Of course the child is a child and is only doing what her parents told her. For full adults like Patricia Brown to kick the girl out of education for their family views is disgusting.

I wish I could have given this zero stars. It is so disheartening to hear of the owners and staff’s display of racism towards a 6 year old African American girl. At a time in our history where the school could have used their time to teach the students more about diversity and educate themselves, they decided to try to silence a lil black girl from being proud of her skin. It’s horrific. You people should not be educators!

Do not bring your children to your school if you are black. The school and it’s staff is incredibly racist and against the BLM movement because they “do not agree with it” therefore complicit in the killings of our black and brown people. Not do they agree with the act of a little black child uplifting herself and her culture while living in a white dominated state. Here is an article to give you full context: https://www.instagram.com/p/CCMEGgnB43f/?igshid=y0y0hpw43nam This educational institution is another example of how racism is taught and shows it’s agenda to keep racism alive as much as they can. This school is a part of the problem. So, if you are black and brown, please do not enroll your children here. This sort of toxic and closed minded environment is not good for a child to learn the world from nor will they ever be able to thrive within this institution.
