Our Mission is to provide a safe, developmentally environment for children as young as two years old and preschoolers (ages 3 -5 years old including our VPK program) and School age children (K-5 grades) with our after school program including Spring, Summer, and Winter camps. Our program is designed to help children become familiar with and begin to master the skills needed for a successful start to their early years of education implementing our creative curriculum into our everyday routine. Basic educational skills like speaking, alphabet, numbers, reading, writing, behavioral skills and social skills, are taught in a fun and exciting way by our great teachers (Most of our staff are bilingual). We do this by presenting them with daily challenges appropriate to their level and assisting them in mastering those specific objectives.
We are committed to provide a program that meets the intellectual, moral, social, emotional, and physical needs of each child by understanding the transformative role we play in the lives of children and parents.

I love this place. My son went here for VPK and the teachers are amazing. The director Ms. Christian is great with children and parents as well. Ms. Patricia is such a great person, she makes everyone feel welcome and at ease. I'm currently trying to get my other son enrolled here for VPK also. No other school like Hands on Learning.
The center is unmatched in love, education and generosity. All three of my children attended HOLC from aged 2 through 5. They are all participating in gifted/advanced programs right now. Their teachers were amazed how much information they knew on pretests. Miss Christian and Miss Patricia and Miss Mary Luz all showed love and tenderness not only for my children but for my entire family (from grandma to aunty). Most of all, I will miss their smiling faces and warm welcomes morning and afternoon. In my experience, no other day care center comes close.
