About the Provider
My name is Tammie Washington, I have been a childcare professional for 26 years. I am CPR, First Aid & AED certified. I have also obtained 126 college credits from Ashford University, Kendall College, Western Iowa Technical Community College in the Early Childhood Education field. I am currently attending Penn Foster College . I have also obtained 32 clock hours through Iowa Department of Human Services. I am also certified in ServSafe. I participate in the Child, Adult Food Program. I have obtained my Child Development Associates through the Council for Professional Recognition. My home is QRS level 3 certified. We are a structured program. We provide 2 hot meals, and a snack. I care for children ages 12 months through 8 years of age. God's Pure At Heart recognizes that families wish their children be treated like an individual with their own individual needs. References Available Upon Request

My purpose in providing quality child care for children is as follows:

A nurturing environment
A learning environment.......learning is not necessarily the ABC's and 123's, but is also the learning of values. The learning of honesty, respect, self-reliance, and potential, self-discipline, and moderation, the values of being; dependable, love empathy for others, kindness, friendliness and fairness are the values of giving.
And to foster unconditional love.....this kind of love is very important to me because children should not grow up feeling that in order to be loved and cared for they must meet numerous conditions. I believe all of these to be the most important ingredients for building a solid personal foundation from which to draw on when meeting the challenges of life. My purpose is to encourage curiosity, a joy of learning and discovery, to encourage their own natural desire to learn so that children may achieve their intellectual, social, emotional, and creative capabilities to their fullest potential.
You will discover in this portfolio that I am CPR & First Aid, and AED Certified, I have acquired certification in Communicable diseases, ChildNet certification, FCCERS certification, QRS Level 3 certification, ServSafe certified, and a Business policies & Contracts certification.QRS RATING: 4 Stars.
