sent both of my children to this woman’s home for childcare after school. Liking the idea that it was her home and felt my kids would be “at home” there. Well, she made the kids, including my son take out her garbage. And bring her trash cans back up. Okay, not a problem. I think it’s good to teach kids responsibilities and I didn’t mind him helping her out. But one day we got a call that the my son and some of the other boys were rough housing. Picked my son up to find him in tears and in excruciating pain. Found out that he had a broken arm. And miss Susan offered no apology and took no responsibility for It. My son said he was crushed by a bunch of kids fighting and piling on top of him.
do not trust this woman with the care of your children. They will not be cared for. Or supervised or monitored. and will probably be made to do her laundry as well.
I have nothing but great things to say about Giant Steps. I have had my daughter in other day care centers, but no one has ever cared for my daughter the way that Giant Step's teachers have. Miss Sharon may be the most generous and kind person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Giant Steps treats all the children as if they are their own, a part of the family.
