My child has attended Garden City since its opening in July 2012 and I highly recommend them! I consider her teachers "2nd Moms" because of the love and care they provide her. I am very picky about with whom I leave my child and could not do so unless I felt completely comfortable that she would be loved and well taken care of. I am greatly impressed with the social, educational and, most importantly, spiritual development she has shown during these most impressionable early years while in attendance at Garden City. I am so thankful that Garden City opened at the exact time we needed them....I wouldn't take my child any place else.

I'd like to comment on the message sent by youlie22 back in January. Evidently youlie22 contacted our licensing office and anonymously reported similar things as in the message here. Licensing came out unannounced and found the allegations to be unfounded. You can read the report at the DHS website. Again, they came out without us knowing they were coming, and found none of the above allegations to be true. Just thought you might like to know the rest of the story. Susan

Garden City is a great place to take your children. The staff are caring and take great care of all the children. My son attends Garden City and loves it! He has improved so much in his social skills and looks forward in going everyday. He gets excited when we are walking up to the front door. My son is always clean and always well feed. They take the children outside to play and never has my son came home dirty. When you bring your children here, not only do they feel like family but the whole staff make YOU feel you are a part of the family. Larry and Susan, Thank you for having a safe and fun place to bring my son. Veronica

If you love your children please don't place them in this center. Children at this center are always dirty never well feed. The enviroment is very poor , for the children and staff. They paint this really nice picture for you at first of course. in the toddler room you have teachers who have no patients for the children .  You never know who the staff members are because there always a new face.  You have people thier taking care of children with no childcare background or background check.  You can never trust waht the staff is saying do to them covering for susan. Our children attitiud change a lot the first month there.  Have know Idea who paid Hboz to give such a good rating above. You can bet your child will coming home hungry , cranky from such a bad day.  I believe that this center is under staff and teachers bruned out.   I have heard children being scream at while picking up my own.  I have seen two men taking care of a class with no female present with girls in a class.  Not to mentioin children of all ages mix in one room which is a big NONO!!!   I feel really sorry for all those parents who are paying this center thinking they are getting a services  for their child .  when its not the case.. GARDEN CITY is not the place if you Love your children ...  If they truly believe in GOD theyWOULD NOT LIE  stright to a parent face....   THEY NEED TO GET A handdle on what going on in their center . I believe they got in way over their heads......  We had hopes we gave it a shot !!!!  Worse mistake !!!!!!!!!!!!

Garden city is a wonderful place for children to be.  My child attends Garden City and loves it.  The teachers are wonderful and caring.  My child is learning new things every day!  Even my child’s manners have greatly improved.  It is a safe family environment where the children come first and are truly love.  I am so thankful that Susan and Larry decided to open Garden City and all the warn love they give my child.  It is very disappointing that some horrible lies have been spread about this place and I recomend EVERYONE looking for excellant child care go and speak to Susan.
