I’m very concerned about how an incident involving my daughter was handled. She was sent home with a noticeable knot on her head, but we were not informed about what happened or provided with an incident report. When we asked for an explanation, no one seemed able to tell us how she was injured.
As a parent, I expect to be notified immediately when my child suffers a head injury and to receive clear documentation of the incident. The lack of communication and accountability was extremely upsetting. I hope the school improves its supervision, incident-reporting procedures, and communication with parents so another family does not experience this.
