Description: Foothills Childcare and Pre-School began as a small, in- home sitting service in 1988. The inspiration came from the difficulty in finding quality care for JoAnne and Charles’s daughter, Jamie Pask. The need for quality care continued to encourage their small sitting service to grow. Allen Swank, JoAnne and Charles’s son, decided to join the team and help them to bring their vision out of the home and become available to the whole community. With the number of requests for child care continuing to grow, they decided to open the present center. Even with the continued growth and change, the goal has always remained the same, to provide a quality environment in which children can grow, learn and feel safe.
