First Steps Academy

First Steps Academy is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm. The Academy is located within Calvary Orlando Church in Winter Park between I-4 and Clay Street. First Steps is blessed with individual classrooms, each designed to provide a state-of-the-art learning environment. Each child is assigned to a self-contained, fun, and inviting classroom that is the base for daily activities. Throughout the day, children rotate among three indoor playrooms, two ourdoor playgrounds, and an indoor gymnasium. First Steps Academy maintains on-site security guards during all hours of operation. Additionally, each classroom, entrance, exit, and playground at the Academy is monitored using closed-circuit cameras. Summer Camp is offered for elementary aged children where they can continue to learn while having fun with other students. Children are encouraged to read throughout the summer, as well as attending weekly in-house "field trips." First Steps Academy is one of few camps that provides the option of paying for specific days and/or weeks, rather than having to pay for the entire summer.
