Description: Fairlawn Village Preschool, located at 3300 Morewood Road in Fairlawn, Ohio was founded in 1962 by Rosemary Forman. As the first preschool in the area, it was based on the Piagetian Theory of Development. Today this approach is still followed. The curriculum is planned with the knowledge that a child's abilities develop in distinct stages, and that each stage requires solid attainment for the next stage to become possible. The feeling of success and a positive self-image are key words in our curriculum. Activities are presented and successfully accomplished in a play atmosphere. We are recognized by Copley-Fairlawn, Revere, St. Hilary's, The Elms, Judy Resnick Elementary, Akron Public School systems and more.
