While my child attended this provider for 3.5 years, we have gone through multiple issues on which we raised concern over and nothing was done except move my child to different "classrooms". For example, when my son was 2.5, we were potty training. He was doing well at home and he was almost all set without any prompting. Then, out of the blue, he completely backslid and wouldn't even go near any sort of toilet. Or even down the hall in the classroom where the restroom was. When I brought it to both the lead in the classroom and the office personnel, they told me it "was nothing" and they decided it best to move him to a new building with a new lead.
More recently, I've been told he's been hitting and more or less being extra rough with other kids and his teachers in the classroom. He's also been throwing himself on the floor kicking and screaming. When I brought it to their attention that he does not do that to anybody outside of when he's there, and that he has never, I repeat NEVER, flailed on the floor kicking & screaming, they have just told me that he's been doing this the whole time he's been in their care.
It's been 4 years and I'm just now hearing about this.
I requested video footage, because at this point, I don't believe them. I have yet to receive it.
I do NOT recommend sending your child to Explorers. If you have any concerns about what's going on while your child is in their care, you will not get a direct answer, just a lot of soft talking nonsense that tries to explain it away.
