my child was neglected and abused at this school, and the new owner Ali dismissed and diminished my concerns. my child was left to sit in soaked diapers for over 4 hours, even though he was potty trained and should’ve been able to go to the bathroom multiple times during that timespan. he was bitten and slapped by children, his hand was slammed in a diaper changing table, he was hit with toys by children, and he was slapped in the face twice by a kid RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and the two teachers ‘watching’ his class didn’t notice until i yelled at them to help my son. i only started getting accident reports after i complained about my child being bitten multiple times with no reports made by his teacher, and the director Catherine had the nerve to tell me that i was out of line for being upset. the new teachers hired by the new director/owners are uneducated and untrained, and frankly dangerous. one of the new teachers openly spoke about how children as young as 2 deserve to be BEATEN. she had multiple young children of her own going to the school and they displayed blatant signs of abuse so i can only imagine what that teacher did in her free time to those children. the new owner puts profit over children’s safety. the school used to be amazing until the new owners and director got involved. now it’s no better than all of the other daycares in Peoria that abuse children, which is unfortunately more common than not. this school has solidified my choice to never send my child to daycare ever again.
