Description: Emerson Preschool is a licensed, fee-based preschool that provides year-round comprehensive developmentally appropriate program for young children. Emerson is currently enrolling children ages 3 to 5.
The main goals of the program are:
to help children feel good about themselves and others
to become self-motivated learners
to gain firm positive attitudes for future learning
Classes provide an environment that encourages children to express themselves through language, art, movement, music, dramatic play, and social interaction. There is also a strong emphasis on literacy skills for 3-5 year olds.
Emerson has a well-qualified administrative and instructional staff. The Principal, Dr. Joan Butler, has more than 30 years in administration of early childhood programs as an early childhood teacher, coordinator, and principal.
