Desiree Chevalier

I have known Desi and the families that she has worked with for over 18 years. I was so thankful that Desi had openings once I started a family of my own. Desiree took care of three of my children from infancy. Desiree is incredibly knowledgeable of all aspects regarding children and I would often ask for advice about different milestones that my children were attempting to get to, struggling with or seeming to move over quickly. Desiree has not called off or closed her daycare outside of vacation which you know of months in advance. Desiree is always thoughtful about the licensing process, is well aware of the needs of her daycare in general but most importantly with the children. Desiree has a clear set of expectations and policies that are strictly adhered too which helps everyone know what will be occurring. I am often jealous of how clean her home is and don't know how Desi is able to keep up. Desiree knows that I can be particular with food for my little ones and was accepting of any requests that I made about introducing new foods, etc. Desiree knows all of her daycare kiddo's so well and uniquely, when the children began getting bored with the toys, she would switch things out every few months and it was like brand new toys. Desiree does have a curriculum that she follows and helped my kiddo's get closer to being ready for formal early education. My children felt/feel comfortable, secure and are often soothed by the routine and structure that Desi provides. Searching for daycare is daunting and I am so lucky to never be worried in any way shape or form when I walked out her door and left my children with her. Desiree is professional, kind and courteous when addressing any worries or needs. To be honest, I am not sure I would have made it through the last few years as a single parent without Desi and my children having this extra support system.

We have been so blessed to have found Desiree's Daycare! We have happily sent our three children to Desiree, because she is the very best fit for us. Desiree is very kind, caring, and attentive to each and every family. She welcomes and nurtures every child through her wonderful program. My family started with Desiree's Daycare when our oldest was just around 2, our youngest was 6 weeks. Recently, our third child has celebrated his 4th year at Desiree's. Our oldest still fondly remembers how Desi let her help, some, with the younger kids. Our second child loved how Desiree had various Themes to enlighten the kids day. I will never hesitate to recommend Desiree's Daycare to anyone looking for solid and reliable care for their children. Thank you.

Desi is Amazing! My kids are now in first grade but still ask to go see Mrs Desi. I was always notified of any issues in a timely manner. She was great at accommodating special requests that arose. It's hard leaving your kids but with Desi it was easier because I knew they were being loved and cared for in such an amazing way.

Finding a creditable and trustworthy daycare provider to watch your kiddos can be challenging. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Desiree. My daughter is now 3.5 and Desiree has been watching her since she was 3 months old and always asks to go back to Desiree's. My daughter was delayed in walking and had challenges with her language and Desiree worked great with her along with welcoming her Therapists to work with her during the day. Desiree would partner with me and her therapists to incorporate her goals into her daily routine. I could always trust Desiree to follow any specific requests/instructions I had with my daughter. If there were any incidents (normal daycare incidents) during the day, I was always informed in a timely. I am so thankful to have found Desiree to trust with my kiddos. I would highly recommend Desiree for a great positive in home daycare experience. We now have a 3 week son and he will join Desiree when I return to work in July.
