The Delhi Center is known as a community center by some, a family resource center by others, and — more recently — a robust community development organization. The Delhi Center is, in fact, all three. Delhi is a gathering place, a family-strengthening hub, AND a place where individuals, families, and neighborhoods find support for economic opportunity. The Delhi Center has a strong connection to the historic Delhi neighborhood and delivers various place-based initiatives. Depending on the program, we are also known for serving the broader Santa Ana community and, in some cases, serve clients from throughout Orange County.

Core program areas include Health, Financial Stability, Education, and Community Engagement.

We focus on advancing self-sufficiency of the individual, family, and neighborhood by integrating all four of our program areas for maximum impact. We understand that all four program areas are very much interconnected. Nutrition and wellness programs, for example, encourage better health which, in turn, reduces costly trips to the emergency room and can help avoid financial disaster within a family unit. Financial stability and empowerment can be a critical component in educational attainment, while educational attainment is a strong indicator of healthy living patterns. And an engaged individual leaders work collectively to impact overall community health, financial stability, and education levels.
