I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My daughter was with her for 3 months. We were so glad to be able to move our child out of her care after 3 months. During our interview, she appeared to be very friendly and talked about how she loved all the kids in her care. Later we found out she was rude and very unpleasant. Called me at work telling me my child has high fever, took my child to emergency care and found out my child’s temperature was elevated due to dehydration! My child was not fed properly under her care and one day I stopped by earlier than my regular pick up time and saw her roughly handled other kids in her care. She asks for deposits. When we left her care, she returned less than 1/3 of my deposit back. Asked her why, she said we need to pay for her scheduled vacation in October (we pulled our child out in August! That was before her vacation). The other review here said she was rude to the parents. If she is rude to the parents, do you think she would treat you kids with respect? I would never recommend her to anyone.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Things started out good for about 4 months and then she continuously sent either of my 2 children home with fevers. When I took their temperatures at home, they were normal. So she didn't watch my child for 2 days in a row when they were in fact not sick. She also said she would isolate my son when he was not behaving as she though a 2 year old would. When it comes to potty training, she would not help my 2.5 year old son in the bathroom; just ask him if he had to go then send him. She sent a pair of underwear home with poop still in them. As for my infant, she wasted several bags of frozen breastmilk saying the bags were leaking, yet not asking for my suggestions until 2 weeks passed. She told me I was rude, childish, and how I did not have an open mind. She continuously tried to tell me how to medicate my child; I'm a pharmacist, i think I'd know a little better than her. I'm happy my children are not there anymore.

Extremely unprofessional. Inconsistent guidelines that do not match the contract. Loses her temper very easily with parents. Good with the kids but not really worth it. She also takes off every single federal holiday, even the ones no one else has off, so have a backup plan for those.

Debbie runs an efficient daycare and is good with the kids. She is also great with potty training. Be prepared however. She can be incredibly rude and abrupt to the parents. If you can get past her attitude then I recommend it. Another parent has complained about this to me as well. I believe she actually ended up removing her son from the daycare.
