We had very few problems with Katy. She allowed great leniency with our schedules and was usually very understanding about last-minute cancels. She does allow her 2 dogs to wander around with the kids outside, which always made me a little uncomfortable. There is also no grassy area where the kids can play, only the garage and pavement outside of it. A few incidences at her establishment also caused us to raise our brows a few times, but as they never turned out more evidence I simply kept a closer eye on my child's behavior. She did warn us that, since we were part-time, our spot could be taken if a full-time child came along. When that time came, though, we were given a weeks warning, while we were on vacation no less. She had prior knowledge that our child would be returning in a week, since we were both in school and had set job schedules. We were left scrambling to find a new sitter and had to take blows with our grades and pay, because, for whatever reason, Katy refused to give us a more advanced notice. It was shocking for us, and this is the reason I can only give this establishment two stars.
