The cotton balls were removed from the classroom immediately and placed into a locked closet. They will remain out of classrooms where the children are under 3 years old. The sensory tube was removed from the classroom as well and will not be used. A lock was installed on the sensory bin lid and the sensory bin is removed from the classroom during gross motor time for the children under 3. A mesh fence was installed outside on the playground fence to keep mulch from moving into the toddler playground.
