Description:
Crook County Christian School is a private, preschool thru 8th grade Christian School. CCCS was founded in 1994 by Sue Uptain-Gillham who served as Principal until 2013. We are a "Kingdom Building" ministry of the First Assembly of God church in Prineville, Oregon. Through the principle of "Kingdom Building", we strive to focus on the tenets of the Christian faith that is common to all Christ-professing denominations.
The mission of Crook County Christian School is to provide students with a Christ-centered academic education in a Biblically directed learning environment that prepares them for Christian service and leadership in their community and the world.
Our primary focus as a Christian School is to provide a thorough learning experience grounded in the Word of God. This includes the implementation of a Christ-focused curriculum, where God's Word is integrated throughout the entire course of study. One of our basic goals is to enable the child to be in competition with himself in the process of becoming the best he can be. Our program is grounded in the pursuit of excellence. The students at Crook County Christian School will be provided a quality education from a Christian perspective.
