Description: Cradles & Crayons Preschool has served the greater Gorham and Standish area for more than 20 years. The Preschool was opened first to meet the needs of the adjoining Cradles & Crayons Child Development Center's pre-kindergarten children and then to the public with classes to meet most family's needs.
Today the school is directed by Debra Willoughby who has been a state of Maine certified teacher for 30 years. Debra has worked with Cradles & Crayons' Preschool for the last 16 years.
Working within the larger community of Cradles & Crayons CDC Daycare provides the opportunity for preschool children in different class sessions to interact on the playground, during field trips and at special events such as Snofest, guest visits, holiday parties and graduation.
Cradles & Crayons Preschool and C & C Daycare both fully comply with state mandated guidelines and student to teacher ratios. Working together, all staff and children are familiar with each other and our routines. With a caring supportive staff and many new friends, graduates of Cradles & Crayons Preschool are prepared and eager to explore the opportunities of Kindergarten.
