This employer hires teachers under the assumption that they will be paid an hourly rate. Right before the semester starts they inform you of a different pay structure. Dividing your pay over a certain number of months so you will get a bonus pay check in June. What they don't explain is that they are paying you less than the hourly rate you were told when hired. You are only paid a percentage of what you earned, not the full daily rate. If you do not stay the full year, you do not have access to the rest of the money you have earned. If you are sick they take out the full daily rate that you are not being paid.
