About the Provider
Congregational Preschool is a nonprofit, nonsectarian early childhood program that believes in a developmentally appropriate education for young children ages 2 ½ to 5 years. Our preschool has been servingyoung children and their families since 1952 and is one of the oldest preschool programs in Albuquerque.
Our curriculum addresses the different interests, particular needs and developmental levels of each child. All areas of a child’s development are linked in an integrated approach to learning. Congregational Preschool provides an environment that invites children to be actively involved in their own learning. Hands-on experiences in our learning centers offer involvement in math, science, music, writing, reading, art, imaginative play, and physical movement.
The preschool is licensed by The Childcare Licensing and Certification Bureau of the Prevention and Intervention Division of the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department.
