Clyde Elementary after school care used to be a very excellent place for my children. The director used to be a woman called Penny. Unfortunately she has left our school and gone to another local school.

The replacement for her is a woman by the name of Ann. She is a special needs teacher at clyde elementary, and then she directs afterschool when she gets done with her class at 3 or 3:30. Just because she has a 4 year degree doesn't make her qualified to handle several children at one time. The afterschool program has right now about 40 to 50 kids. She has let high school students Who are supposed to be helpers watch the children all alone and unsupervised. According to the rules, they are not allowed to let this happen as a director she must stop it. but has not. she stays on her cell all the time, either texting or talking, and lets her helpers do the same, or what ever they wish to do. As well as the children she watches.

She doesn't have her CPR/first aid certificate, and several times when i came to pick my children up, she had told me that they were either in the cafeteria, library, computer lab, or outside on the playground......hence she didn't know where they were!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!

They were recently investigated and had 16 violations.
NEARLY GOT SHUT DOWN?!?!?!?

I do not recomend this aferschool program. If you have the option of going somewhere else, then do it, unfortunately i have no other options!!!!
