Description: Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services Department is accepting child care applications for “A Child’s Place” after school program at the following school sites: Armada Elementary, Creekside Elementary, and Sunnymead Elementary (Moreno Valley Unified School District) and Rainbow Ridge (Val Verde Unified School District).
Child care services are available for children enrolled in transitional kindergarten through the age of twelve years. Child care is provided from school dismissal to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on non-student days. The program provides daily homework tutoring, arts and crafts, nutritious snacks, and recreational activities for children throughout the school year. The fee for the program is free or at a reduced rate according to the family’s income and family size. Parents must be either working or attending school to qualify for services.
