I love childtime I spent months looking for a preschool for my 2 year old.. Childtime is much more than a day care.. Their curriculum is based on Reggio Emilia approach.. It has some similarities to Montessori but our son is doing much better with this approach than Montessori. We just transferred him from Montessori to childtime.. People tend to think Montessori is the best .. But is isn't always .. What we didn't like about Montessori is that they discourage fantasy play, their activities are very repetitive, they don't involve parents in the school programs.. At childtime in Martinez kids are encouraged to do fantasy play, their activities are not repetitive and they have a bunch of activities that involve parents.. We could not be happier with the school.. We see our son learning and he is sooo happy :) I would recommend this place to anyone.. In addition they provide the kids with a breakfast and a warm lunch every day:) no more lunch boxes :) the staff Is soooo friendly!!
