2020-10-21 Complaint 13A.16.05.01A(1) Corrected
Findings: Complaint was made that the roof in the infant room was leaking and the ceiling was caving into the classroom. LS inspected the infant classrooms virtually. There is some water damage on the ceiling of Infant II; however it appears to be a water stain and some paint damage. From the virtual inspection, the ceiling did not appear to be "caving in" as was suggested in the complaint. Director stated that this past summer the building siding was replaced, the HVAC team rerouted the water to a drip pan (directly over the infant room) not knowing it was cracked. The drip pan leaked through the ceiling (not during child care hours). HVAC rerouted the water again to an outside source to avoid future leaking. There have been no other leaks since then. Director will have the ceiling damage repaired this weekend, by Monday October 26th. Director shared her detailed plan of having the drywall removed, new drywall added, sanding, and eventually painting. Director will send photos to LS by Monday, October 26th of completed repairs.
2020-02-18 Complaint 13A.16.08.01B(1) Corrected
Findings: LS discussed the complaint with the Director. Director stated that on the day of February 13th, the Director and another Infant teacher were in one infant classroom with eight infants. LS discussed the lack of being able to address the children's individual care needs when they are over capacity and not within OCC regulations. During the time of the inspection, the Preschool classroom had 12 children with one Preschool teacher, two of which were school age children. When asked about the school age children, the Preschool teacher stated they are not with her and I needed to ask the Director about those children. LS discussed that the center is not currently licensed for school age children and with the Preschool teacher present, she is not able to address their individual care needs. LS to determine what further action needs to occur after speaking to the OCC Regional Manager.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Actually should receive several negative stars. First off the center has been confirmed by the health and licensing board to have extremely high levels of lead in the water system inside daycare.
Extremely high turn over rate of employees which means you never know exactly who is watching your kids.
Several previous employees have stated the director of this location will physically punish your children. Multiple code violations this year and numerous ones in the several years I have allowed my kids to go here. Currently shopping for new child care as this place is unsafe and very unprofessional.
