About the Provider
The primary goal of the Child Development Laboratory (CDL) is to provide quality education and training experiences for students majoring in Early Childhood, while enhancing the field of child development through research. In that context, the CDL offers high quality child care for children from six weeks to six years of age.
Quality care is delivered through a curriculum designed to provide sound emotional, social, physical and intellectual development. Teachers assess each child’s growth and development, and plan a curriculum to facilitate these processes as a child progresses toward maturity. Both the indoor and outdoor learning environments feature a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities. By working in conjunction with parents, the CDL staff is able to supplement home experiences and provide a continuity of care.
