Description: Established in 1975, privatly owned by Janet Petro. CCW Academy provides a structured pre-kindergarten program for children ages 3 to 5 that is individualized accomodating the needs for every child enrolled by preparing all children for the kindergarten setting. All structured classes are conducted in the morning with childcare available in the afternoon.
Additional Information: CCW Academy, originally known as Candy Cane Workshop, started in 1975. The Academy was the 2nd preschool in the Youngstown to open it's doors to preschool children offering a very structured program that jump started kindergarten readiness. It is well established with a loving, educated staff that cares about the individual needs of every child enrolled. This school is truely a child's launch pad. The program is innovative, and very well balanced.
