Description: Casa Montessori, , a non-profit, non-sectarian, California corporation was founded in 1971 by Mrs. Sakura M. Long and three other directors. It has grown from 75 students to the present size of 176 children and 25 faculty/staff. We have a multi-cultural student body; our children are from all over the world! Casa Montessori has been a member of the American Montessori Society since 1973.

This school has nowhere near 176 children and 25 faculty/staff. Recent figures are a preschool with 19 kids in it, and an elementary school which is severely under-enrolled with only about 16 students left in it. This school has fallen on hard times recently, with a very high drop-out rate, and difficulty recruiting new students. Insist on written proof of any positive claim made about this school.
