Description: Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo is a school of Brazilian martial arts and a cultural center for Capoeira. It is directed by Mestre Rony Costa who came from Brazil when he was 26 years old. Capoeira is a Brazilian Martial Art created by slaves in Brazil about 500 years ago. It efficiently uses traditional Capoeira music to pace the moves and the motion of the "game". At the Academy of Capoeira, that is what we do. Every class is designed to increase your endurance and get you toned. This program is different... our students are family here. We care for everyone who walks in the door; you are not just another member. If you are missing classes you will be called, as this helps with the follow through of helping you reach your goals!
