If I could give this home “daycare” a 0 star I would! Let me start by saying that when I met this woman Cynthia D Brown I was only 20 with 2 kids going for my bachelors. She approached me and it went on from there. It took me 2 months to debate as I wanted to get back to work. I finally enrolled my kids in October of 2018. By January 2019 I started seeing red flags. My kids would come home to me with WET diapers and she would claim it’s from them spilling water on themselves (BS!) any mother knows the difference between a wet soaking diaper and a child spilling water on themselves. One time I came to pick my kids up and was in for a BIG surprise... my oldest who was almost 2 at the time had bruises on one side of his face, mind you Cynthia didn’t even inform me of this nor did she make a report of this. I picked my kids up and instantly noticed it and she claimed that she didn’t even notice it but was the same person that put on their coats before I got there. She claimed he slept on a toy... BS again! I instantly took my child to the hospital and was told by my child’s doctor that someone did something to him but at the tone never thought it was Cynthia. Sat her down and had a talk with her because even though at the time I didn’t think it was her I knew SOMEONE did it. Fast forward to 2020 my motherly instance kept telling me that something was wrong so I decided to place an audio recorder in my children’s diaper bag to catch her in her lies as she’s a pathological liar! The phone recorded 9 hours of my children at Cynthia’s daycare and you can hear her hitting BOTH my kids, telling my oldest child that she’ll beat his a**, using profanity at him, calling my youngest child slow telling him “you know the routine go up them stairs you act like you’re slow” she was also telling another child a baby girl “shut up girl” etc. The child’s mother took her child out of her daycare as well. That child’s mother also noticed pinch marks on her child and Cynthia would say the baby girl did it to her self. Cynthia is VERY ghetto and unprofessional. She is a wolf in sheep’s clothing! I looked at her as a mother and she took advantage of that. She doesn’t have children for a reason because God saw how evil she is towards children. Unfortunately DCFS ended up closing the case against Cynthia because it was an audio recording and Illinois is a 2 party consent state. I’m so glad I saved my children. I’m so glad God brought it to the light and exposed Cynthia Brown. Cynthia was also lying and stealing from the state. I was only working part time and she had me working for full time and when I pressed her about this she said that she was only getting paid for the days my children were there which I was later told that it was a lie. There was a time when I came to pick my children up she’d have different people handing me my children which I put an end to. Come to find out she was having her family members and friend keeping our children while she went to handle her business. Cynthia will tell you what you want to hear to get you to enroll your children and won’t do NOTHING! She would leave the kids in playpens and turn the tv on. She will lie and tell you she teaches children but doesn’t teach anything! She’s evil and God has a special place for those that hurt children. God knows that I won’t lie on Cynthia as she was very convenient for me location wise and I once had respect for her, but you reap what you sow and she will get her karma for hurting innocent children. There are child care providers that love what they do and mean good and there are others that only do it for the money and Cynthia only do it for the money. She take advantage of very small children. Horrible person! Doesn’t change the kids diapers, doesn’t feed them, she also is featuring the states funds, leaves the kids in playpen in front of the TV alll day! Caught her on audio tape saying she would “starve my son” I’ll beat your a**” etc left the kids in the room for a total of 6+ plus. She was receded on audio. She is a criminal, she is negligent, lazy and plain trifling! DO NOT send your children here. Feel free to email me to get a copy of the audio to verify me telling the truth [email protected]
